Winner Takes a Fall

We had a rousing conversation on campus today at our Socrates Cafe. The topic was the story linked below about a high school girls' basketball coach who was fired after his team won a game 100 - 0. I'll be interested to see this guy on the sports shows talking about the incident, and I KNOW the shows will be interested in talking to him.

So, what do you think? Did the coach do something wrong?

Wow, fired over a non apologetic win??? This is just nuts. If the win was so awful, why didn't Dallas decide to give up? Apparently, the Dallas team were good enough sports to finish the game. If that is the case, then why all the commotion over such an upset. It wasn't like they were forced to play to the end of the fourth quarter. If I was the fired coach, Id be fighting for my job. And how Christlike of his employer to fire him, hahah! That's the pot calling the kettle black if you ask me!
