Start of New Term
Well, it's 1:30 in the morning and I am finally ready for the fall term to start. I really should be posting a podcast along with this, but no one wants to see what I look like in the middle of the night after fighting with Linksys customer service again trying to get my wireless back up at home. (By the way, who else makes a wireless router? I'll know tomorrow because I'm damn sure not buying another Linksys product.)
I've decided to use the blog as the textbook for my online ENC1102 class this term since Newsweek pulled the plug on its education program. It was a great program that provided interesting content for my courses at very little cost. Now I'm going to replace it with something at no cost - unless you count the servers keeping this blog online (and the new wireless router I have to buy now, but that's not a cost to the student at least).
So, it looks like I'll be posting a lot more here, especially links to interesting content I find on the web. That's right: I've found a way to make surfing the internet into a bone fide part of my career!
