Florida State College @ Jacksonville (FSCJ) North Campus Security Department is dedicated to providing a safe working and learning environment for all students, employees and guests. The College’s campus security officers are unarmed and do not have police powers, but they work closely with local law enforcement agencies on follow up actions or investigations related to criminal activities on campus. All students and employees are encouraged to promptly report any criminal or suspicious activity to the nearest FSCJ Campus Security Officer.

To contact Campus Security from a telephone off campus, or from a personal cell phone, please dial 766-6608, if an area code is needed, please use 904.
At times the main Campus Security number may be transferred to a cell phone carried by the on-duty Campus Security Officer. If the main phone (766-6608) is transferred, you may get dead air or not be able to hear the phone ringing, trust me an officer is attempting to answer the phone.

Our current CISCO IP telephone system does not give the caller the impression that the call is going through. Because of this problem, as you are hanging up, an officer is answering the phone.
